How paying works
- Sign up and choose Sync.
- Scan the QR on your account page with any Fonepay, mobile banking or wallet app. It already has the amount and a reference.
- Enter the transaction code from your receipt.
- We confirm it against Stratek Nepal's Fonepay statement, usually within a few hours on working days, and Sync runs for 30 days.
Why rupees and QR
Many international document and automation tools start around USD 30 to 40 a month, billed in dollars to a card. Chakaap is built in Nepal by Stratek: you pay in rupees from the banking app you already use, and every payment is checked by a person before your plan starts.
Questions
How do I pay for Sync?
By Fonepay QR. Your account page shows a QR with the exact amount (NPR 4,518.87 including 13% VAT) and a reference. Pay from any Fonepay, mobile banking or wallet app, then enter the transaction code from your receipt. We check it and switch Sync on.
Who receives the payment?
Stratek Nepal Pvt. Ltd., the company behind Chakaap (Fonepay merchant account at Nabil Bank, New Road).
Does it renew automatically?
No. One payment covers 30 days. Before it ends, your account page shows a new QR so you can renew; paying early adds 30 days on top of the time you have left.
Can I pay by card?
Not at the moment. Chakaap is paid in Nepali rupees by Fonepay QR.
What if my payment cannot be confirmed?
We tell you on your account page and you can check and resend the code. If we cannot confirm or activate a payment you made, we refund it.
Is Chakaap available now?
Chakaap is in early access: features arrive over the coming weeks, and we set up every early-access account with you personally.
