Who we are
Chakaap is a product of Stratek Nepal Pvt. Ltd., Nepal ("Stratek", "we"). Stratek decides how the information below is used. Contact: admin@chakaap.com.
What we collect
- Account details: institution name, your name, work email, phone number, your Chakaap handle, and your password stored only as a one-way hash.
- Payments: the plan, amount, our payment reference, the transaction code you enter, and when it was checked. Your bank or wallet handles the payment itself; we never see your bank login or card details.
- Work you send to Chakaap: emails, documents and data sent to your Chakaap address or connections, used only to run the service for your institution.
- Technical data: a sign-in cookie (
chk_session) that keeps you signed in, your light/dark choice stored in your own browser, and standard request logs kept by our hosting provider for security.
How we use it
- To create and run your account and provide Chakaap.
- To check payments and activate plans.
- To contact you about your account, payments and early-access setup.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use advertising trackers.
Where it is stored
Chakaap runs on Cloudflare's network (database, file storage and sessions). We keep account and payment records while your account is open and as long as Nepali law requires for financial records; you can ask us to delete the rest.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your information by emailing admin@chakaap.com from your account email. We follow Nepal's Individual Privacy Act, 2075 (2018).
Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date at the top and, for important changes, tell account holders by email.
